Real Estate and Facebook 101 (Tue. 6 Aug, 2019 10:00 am - 12:00 pm)

CE hours: 2

Cost: $20 by 07/23/19; add $5 after 07/23/19. MUST REGISTER BY 08/02

This course will provide instruction on using Facebook as a networking tool and the creation of real estate related business opportunities. Agents will learn to implement strategies on Facebook to present their services to a wider audience at minimal cost. How to integrate blog and RSS feeds into their Facebook page and become more efficient in managing leads with Facebook. It will allow agents to build their business/client network by having the ability to provide real-time status updates, photos/video of property listings.

This course is designed to introduce the real estate license holder to the business development and client-base building opportunities available via social networking sites with a focus one of the most popular site used by the real estate industry. By developing this skill agents will be able to market more effectively on a larger scale, find new clients and expand their current portfolio of contacts using this social media platform.

This course is designed to expose the real estate professional to the next level of business development and client-base building opportunities available via social networking sites. Focusing on LinkedIn, the largest professional network, agent will learn what LinkedIn is and how to deploy it. The course will discuss the networks application to the real estate industry, what makes this site so popular and how effectively using LinkedIn can grow a business and expand a client base. Agents will be able to use this tool to prospect for new clients and as a contact management system for current/past clients and business partners.

This course was developed specifically for real estate license holders who are using social media to market their products and services or have already embraced social media at an introductory level. The course will build upon their existing knowledge of using LinkedIn and the guidelines for appropriate use related to real estate transactions, marketing and listing of properties.
